Rehabilitation of Sensitivity

Hyper or hyposensitivity can affect children differently. In both cases, as an occupational therapist, you can use tools for sensitivity rehabilitation tailored to the child’s needs.
The intervention is conducted through play, using specific therapeutic equipment, in a space that is adapted and safe for the child. The goal of rehabilitation is to directly address the difficulties (sensory modulation disorders) that impact the child’s behavior and interfere with their learning during development.
